Astec’s Peterson Horizontal Grinder Transportation Dolly
Astec’s all-new optional Peterson transportation dolly is designed to be used with the Peterson 5710E horizontal grinder and is an ideal solution for grinding operations that have frequent moves between jobs.

The optional tow dolly allows for superior maneuverability into tight job sites due to the shorter transportation length, reduced height, and overall weight.

When it’s time to move the machine, the horizontal grinder attaches to the transportation dolly with four hydraulically actuated pins, allowing for an easy, repeatable and secure connection. The air bags inflate to allow for up to 11 5/8 inches (295 mm) of ground clearance.

The dolly also features an automatic leveling air suspension to easily achieve the desired ground clearance, and an on-board tow hitch for repositioning the dolly on your job site. The reduced weight, lower emissions, and tool-less hookup, make for a safe alternative to machine hauling the horizontal grinder on a low-boy trailer.
