Successful Peterson 3710E Demo Day in Ontario

Cardinal Equipment recently welcomed customers, industry professionals, and partners from across Ontario for a live demonstration of the new Peterson 3710E Horizontal Grinder, the latest innovation from Astec Peterson.

Despite an afternoon rain shower, attendance remained strong as participants gathered to see the machine perform in real-world grinding applications. The event provided an opportunity for customers to evaluate the 3710E's capabilities firsthand while connecting with the Cardinal Equipment and Astec Peterson teams.

The Next Generation of Peterson Grinding Performance

Officially introduced at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the Peterson 3710E represents the next evolution in horizontal grinding technology. Designed for contractors, recyclers, land clearing operations, and biomass producers, the machine combines powerful performance with enhanced mobility and transportability.

Powered by a 772 HP Caterpillar C18 engine, the 3710E delivers the processing capacity customers expect from Peterson while maintaining a compact footprint. One of the machine's key advantages is its ability to be transported between job sites without requiring special permits, helping operators reduce transportation costs and improve operational flexibility.

The grinder also features an expanded screening area designed to maximize production efficiency and deliver consistent end-product quality across a variety of material types.
